Welcome to my website. I started this project partly as a hobby, partly to sharpen my technical skills, and partly to explain qualities about me that might not transfer well to a resume.

I am a data analyst and field-grade Army information operations officer with joint, strategic, and operational planning experience. I also have extensive experience in law enforcement and military logistics. I've built machine learning models and data pipelines using Python, R, and Palantir Foundry, and I regularly work with everything from statistical modeling to natural language processing to turn imperfect data into something useful.

However, I think what I really bring to the table is an ability to work through ill-defined problems, with less than perfect tools, and under less than perfect conditions. At the risk of sounding corporate, I really do try to "get to yes” on my projects. I think I work well in these circumstances, and I enjoy it. I like figuring out what's needed, learning what I have to, and just getting things done. I've done that enough times, in enough unrelated contexts, that I developed a sort of "meta-skill" in my ability to integrate a range of skills across domains and build practical solutions.

If you need someone with experience in data analysis, information operations, or the other areas where I've built expertise, I'm qualified for those roles. However, if you don’t know what you need or your problem is ill-defined, that is where I bring the most value.

Whatever your reason for visiting, I encourage you to look around as I begin adding more content. If anything you see piques your interest, feel free to contact me and be sure to grab a copy of my resume.
